ALL All-Star Player and Manager Self-Nomination Information
Being selected as an All-Star is a prestigious honor that carries significant responsibility. Participants, including players, managers, and coaches, will represent not only their league but also our community, families, and the fields where they have honed their skills. The All-Stars tournament is intensely competitive, with teams striving to win the District 6 Championship and aiming for victory in tournaments to follow!
Antelope Little League will possibly field the following teams:
- 11u (will consist of 10 and 11 year old's)
- 50/70 (league age 12 & 13 year old's)*
- Juniors*
*Important - These teams must’ve won 50% of their regular season games
Time Commitment:
- All-Star teams may practice/compete five to six days a week.
- Players are expected to attend all practices and games until the team is eliminated from the tournament. Depending on the division, All-Star tournaments can last into August.
- This time commitment may be understandably more than families are willing to give during their summer months.
Please take into consideration vacation plans before your player submits their name.
Each All-Star family will have a Family participation requirement of TWO (2) activities during the postseason (including but not limited to: Field Prep and Clean up, Scorekeeping, Pitch Count, Announcing and/or Snack Bar). Additional information will be available throughout the postseason.
Important Dates
- April 27: Player & Coach Self-Nominations open
- May 7: Player & Coach Self-Nominations close for 11u and Juniors
- May 8: Player & Coach Self-Nominations close for 50/70
- May 9 -10: voting at Antelope Little League field from 5:00-7:00 PM
- May 19: All-Star Player/Coaches Announced
- June 1: Documents are DUE no later than 6/1/2024 (original copy of the players birth certificate and residency documents as needed)
- June 17: 50/70 All-Stars begins
- June 22: Junior All-Stars begins
- June 29: 11u All-Stars begins
Player Eligibility:
- Players, ages 10-14 are encouraged to submit for self-nomination. Teams will be league age restriction for the divisions listed above.
- Players MUST have participated in a minimum of eight (8) regular season games.
- Any formal complaints submitted to the ALL BOD or UIC regarding a player or manager’s behaviors/actions/conduct (both on and off the fields while representing ALL) will be reviewed and may result in disqualification to an ALL-All-Stars team.
Manager Eligibility
- Any regular season Manager or Coach is encouraged to submit their self-nomination.
- Managers should be from their respective divisions, and are listed and defined below:
- 11u All Star Manager shall be a regular season manager or coach from the Baseball AAA division.
- Intermediate (50/70) All Star Manager shall be a regular season manager or coach from the Baseball Intermediate (50/70) division.
- Junior All Star Manager shall be a regular season manager or coach from the Baseball Juniors Division
- Any formal complaints submitted to the ALL BOD or UIC regarding a player or manager’s behaviors/actions/conduct (both on and off the fields while representing ALL) will be reviewed and may result in disqualification to an ALL-All-Stars team.
